Doheny Ranch

In this major remodel of an expansive ranch-style home, Clint Nicholas Design took all the building’s assets and amplified them. It eased the flow from inside to outside with new sliding glass and steel doors, and enhanced the earthiness of the house with oak cladding on ceilings, floors and walls, along with ​​silk wall-coverings, rich tan leather upholstery and creamy area rugs. Bright contrasts, as between smooth limestone plaster and black metal window frames, kept the look crisp and modern. Nicholas created a living space both comfy and chic, achieved through the firm’s signature approach: an artful composition of different touches, feels and textures.
